Visions异象

I drive almost one hour each morning to arrive at my workplace. It is the best time for me to pray, to reflect, and to plan my day. I always had these moments in which ideas pop out from nowhere. I tended to ignore them, but then some of the ideas would repeat and became clearer each time they pop out.

I decided to write down some of these clearer ones, so that others may view and comment, and hopefully share the same visions.

My strength in research is doing survey, and recently exploring on online survey. This means that I can survey many samples at one time by sending out emails and invitation letters. The vision I saw today is about a lack of church database. We are not sure how many christians there are in Malaysia, how old they are, how many churches without full-time worker, etc. The mission is to setup a survey team assisting the churches, the seminaries and the christian organizations in surveys.

When we came back from Cameron yesterday, there were two sisters in my car and one of them is a missionary. During conversation, a vision pop out, about how someone will be able to find out which missionary organization or which mission field that they should and can join, and what training and requirement are required. In education, we have academic and career counselors, and even education fair. However, there is no mission consultant or counselor in Malaysia, who can help someone figure out which path of mission they can take.

Though there is a strong need to send out missionary and train pastor, the need to collect and provide information is as great.
